
BC LMIA Program (BCPNP Job Offer Stream)
BC LMIA Program is an immigration program jointly operated by the BC Provincial Government and the Federal Department of Immigration. It aims to help BC employers hire and retain qualified foreign skilled workers with the required skills. In this project, the company first screens qualified applicants and agrees to support the applicants for permanent residence through the provincial nomination program. Then the employer and the applicant jointly apply to the PNP. Provincial nomination certificate will be distributed along with the approval of PNP application. Then, the applicant may submit immigration application, where the application will be priority to review.
Requirements:
1) College degree or above;
2) Meet the minimum language requirements (no lower than 5 points in the IELTS G category);
3) Occupation belongs to Canada NOC O, A, B category, at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
4) The employer must meet the nomination requirements of BC.
5) If the employer’s industry needs to have a corresponding professional certificate, it needs to be provided;

Procedures:
- Evaluate applicant’s condition
- Set up immigration plan for applicant
- Submit work permit application or BCPNP for an additional of 600 points
- Receive approval of work permit or BCPNP application
- Prepare and submit permanent resident application
- Receive file number, attend family medical examination
- Obtain Canadian permanent resident status
